Sṛṣṭikartā pālanakartā ca rakṣā–kartā — etat trayaṃ. Dharma–rakṣārthaṃ dharma–bhaṅgaṃ kartum adhikāravān — eṣaḥ sṛṣṭeḥ svayaṃ niyamaḥ.
